Gow Ancient Kilt

Heavy Weight Kilt

£599

Quality hand stitched kilts made by experienced kilt makers based in Scotland.

Traditional 8 Yard Kilt 16 oz Heavy Weight wool.

This name is of Gaelic origin and comes from gobha, meaning a “smith”. It also takes the form of Magobhann (MacGowan), purely an occupational surname, the work of the smith being common in all clans. People of the name are now claimed as septs of Clan Macpherson and to have had connection with Badenoch and the Clan Chattan countryside.

These kilts are made from 8 yard heavyweight 16oz wool. They have a wide swing to the pleats with complimentary matching flashes made from the same weave of fabric. Fastened with three buckles our kilts are finished with a knife-edge and pleated to the seat.
