MacInnes Hunting Ancient Kilt

MacInnes Hunting Ancient Kilt

Medium Weight Kilt

£659

Handmade kilts lovingly crafted by experienced kiltmakers based here in Scotland.

This surname comes from Gaelic Aonghais and are said to have come from the same stock as the MacGillivary's. In 1390 the chief was murdered and the clan appears to have dispersed, some attaching themselves to Clan Campbell, while others became bowmen to the MacKinnons of Skye. In the 1745 Jacobite Rising some MacInnes followed Stewart of Ardsheal.

These kilts are made from 8 yard mediumweight 13oz wool. They have a wide swing to the pleats with complimentary matching flashes made from the same weave of fabric. Fastened with three buckles our kilts are finished with a knife-edge and pleated to the seat.
