The Nicolson tartan is comprised of a red base, accented with green, blue, and black stripes, forming a bold, lively Highland look. It is mainly woven in Ancient, however, Modern and Weathered styles also provide different levels of tone and contrast. The tartan represents Clan Nicolson, a Highland family from Skye and the Isles.
